Go Slow To Go Fast

The title is a concept I got from Alex Hormozi.

I haven’t been consistent with work (mainly day trading) because I wanted to go fast. I wanted to study for 6+ hours every day, just because I wanted the results.

If I studied less than that, I would be hard on myself, telling myself, “I need to study more.” I would think it wasn’t good enough.

I was comparing myself to others because people would be studying way more than I did. This led to inconsistency and unrealistic expectations.

Things have changed now. I will be studying an hour a day, and if I want to do more than that, that’s fine, but at least an hour every single day. Over time, I will increase the intensity.

It sucks because if I had done this a long time ago, I would’ve been in a better position right now.

I heard this somewhere: the best time was 5 years ago (past), or now. I have no choice but to pick the “now.”

Something to keep in mind: The problem is doing it every single day (consistency). Everything you do, focus on consistency first. Once you have that down, you can increase the intensity over time. You can apply this to everything you want to implement in your life.
