Seize Your Opportunities.

My friend offered me a sales job.

What did I do? I took it that day.

The company I’ll be working for is GFI, which stands for Global Financial Impact.

Before this opportunity was presented to me, I was focused on personal training and my plan.

At first, I was unsure when my friend told me about this sales job. He talked about the environment, the pay, and how the job works.

It sounded nice, almost too good to be true.

I still wasn’t as interested as I should’ve been. I just felt like I was straying from my plan.

As I mentioned earlier, I took the opportunity that day. It didn’t take me long to decide.

But what changed? What made me decide to do it anyway?

Well, first, my plan is still in motion. It’s not like I had to sacrifice anything I had planned out for myself.

I just added more to my plate, and I’m okay with that.

The reason I felt unsure and disinterested is that I thought I was deviating from my plan, but I’m not. I’m still planning to move to San Diego with my girlfriend and become a personal trainer there.

There’s not much to lose with this opportunity that’s been given to me, so I say, why not?

The only thing I’m losing is some money, but money comes and goes, while opportunities and experiences are rare to find.

This was never part of the plan, but just like Mike Tyson said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
