The Rule I Will Implement Into My Life.

The rule: I will not eat until I finish all my work and my workout. Until then, I will be dry fasting.

Before making this rule, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be very healthy or not. It’s a simple question with an easy answer: of course, I should be healthy. However, it is challenging. It requires a lot of mental effort, which feels overwhelming for me at this point in my life because I would rather put all my effort into my wealth creation instead constantly fighting my urges.

You might say I am mentally weak, but it’s not like I’m unhealthy every day. I will still be dry fasting most of the time, including during my workouts. When I do eat, it’s mostly fruits. So, it’s not that bad, but I do occasionally eat poorly as well. So, you could say it’s more of a balanced diet.

I decided to add this rule into my life because there were many moments where I was uncertain about whether I should eat, given that I was supposed to be fasting. I wanted to implement prolonged fasting into my weekly schedule, but it was hard, which led to confusion about whether I should move the fast tomorrow so I can eat now.

I was stuck in this cycle for a while, unsure of whether to eat or fast.

Eventually, I made this rule, which I believe will make decisions easier for me because it removes the overthinking. Whenever I want to eat, I will ask myself, “Did I finish all my work today?” and “Did I work out?” If both answers are yes, then I can eat. If one or both answers are no, then no eating until both are done.

I have to earn my meals, which I actually like.
